City of Medina to Begin Champion Creek Redevelopment Project

The Gerspacher Real Estate Group is offering for sale two of the properties to be included in the City of Medina's Champion Creek Redevelopment Corridor project. The former James Lumber property at 342 East Smith Road is a 7.5 acre parcel that adjoins the Medina Supply property of 4.4 acres at 230 East Smith Road.
The city has filed application for the bonds to partially fund this project which includes 39,000 square feet of commercial space, 67 residential units, a 30-room hotel, over four acres of parks, green space and recreational trails, and a potential municipal court. The project is scheduled to start in ealy 2010 and cost $57.4 million.
