Between 2006 and 2013 (8 years), only 2 land transfer show, according to our research on Xceligent. And between 2014-2015 (2 years) 34 land transactions appear. No doubt we saw the affects of the recession but in the last 2 years land has been on fire.  We have seen car dealerships, hotels, industrial buildings, and housing developments all spring up so  watch for more “coming soon” signs! I haven’t seen a better climate to sell land in over 7 years!  Just 3 years ago, you could hardly give it away due to the lack of demand, confidence & financing.  It certainly has changed for the better with lenders competing again to give loans to owner occupied real estate, retail sites, industrial sites and residential subdivisions.
